Response Oncology, Inc. does not have significant operations. The company, along its wholly owned and majority owned subsidiaries, operated as a comprehensive cancer management company. As of May 20, 2002, the company has liquidated substantially all of its operating assets and anticipates that the remaining assets would be liquidated and all wind-down activities completed by the end of 2002. Prior to the sale of its assets, it provided: advanced cancer treatment services through outpatient facilities known as IMPACT Centers under the direction of practicing oncologists; owned the assets of and managed the nonmedical aspects of oncology practices; compounded and dispensed pharmaceuticals to certain oncologists for a fixed or cost plus fee; and conducted outcomes research on behalf of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
