Orca Interactive
Orca Interactive is a provider of middleware solution to enable xDSL and FTTx operators to offer enhanced entertainment services, such as broadcast TV, video-on-demand and interactive services. Orca's applications deliver compelling and differentiated services to maximize the revenue stream of the operators and enable delivery and management of VOD, TV channels, EPG, NVOD, Pay-Per-View and e-commerce for related merchandise. Orca's platform also supports multi-device service delivery to enable heterogynous environments of set-top boxes as well as convergence by exposing some services also to the PC and wireless devices.
Orca Interactive develops and markets multi-channel streaming applications. Orca's products are directed to network operators and service providers that want to generate additional revenues by offering their subscribers rich media content over different channels.
Orca's RiGHTv XVOD (eXtended Video on Demand) application enables the creation and management of a full VOD service. Subscribers are given the opportunity to order movies from the comfort of their home and get direct video streams from the Video Server.
Orca's RiGHTv XBIP (eXtended Broadcast over IP) application offers network service providers the ability to offer and manage multi-casting of TV channels. It includes management tools for creating channels, scheduling programs and defining service packages to be offered to subscribers.
