It provides its vendors access to fragmented markets, such as the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) sector, which relies on VARs, its primary customer base, to gain access to and support for new technology. The company provides a portfolio of services to its vendors, including integration services, supply chain management services, and field, depot and support services, such as field engineering, equipment installation, maintenance, repair and others.

The company distributes and markets various products from major technology hardware manufacturers and software publishers, as well as suppliers of technologies and delivery models, such as converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, the cloud, security, analytics/Internet of things (IoT), and services. Its products are purchased directly from vendors in quantities and are marketed to a reseller base of approximately 125,000 VARs, direct marketers, retailers, corporate resellers and MSPs.

The company groups its offerings into the following two primary solutions portfolios:

Endpoint Solutions Portfolio: The company’s endpoint solutions portfolio primarily includes PC systems, mobile phones and accessories, printers, peripherals, supplies, endpoint technology software and consumer electronics.

Advanced Solutions Portfolio: The company’s advanced solutions portfolio includes primarily data center technologies, such as storage, networking, servers, advanced technology software and converged and hyper-converged infrastructure. Its advanced solutions portfolio also includes its specialized solution businesses. Its next-generation technology solutions, along with its services offerings, span its endpoint and advanced solutions portfolios.

The company sells to customers in approximately 100 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.
