Banking segment
The company, within Banking segment, provides corporate and investment banking services. It provides its domestic customers with a range of financial, investment, and payment transfer solutions, also at international level, and foreign customers with banking services for business needs in Finland and neighboring regions. It consists of the following divisions: Corporate Banking, Markets, and Baltic Banking.
Asset Management segment
Asset Management segment is responsible for asset management services for the company’s major institutional and private customers. Furthermore, Pohjola Asset Management manages most of the portfolio of OP mutual funds on a centralized basis. Pohjola Asset Management combines its own portfolio management with services provided by its international partners.
Pohjola Private provides wealthy private individuals and family businesses with professional asset management, insurance, and banking services. Pohjola Private’s services also include relative asset management solutions and the investment product needs of professional investors.
Non-life Insurance segment
Non-life Insurance segment provides private customers and corporate and institutional customers with a range of insurance solutions. The company is a corporate and public-sector insurer in Finland. Pohjola has a total of 1.7 million customers in Finland and 200,000 in the Baltic countries. The total number of OP-Pohjola Group’s joint banking and non-life insurance customers is approximately one million.
Non-life Insurance comprises six companies: Pohjola Insurance Ltd as a non-life insurance company in Finland, A-Insurance Ltd focusing on insurance for commercial transport, Eurooppalainen Insurance Company Ltd specializing in travel insurance, and the Seesam companies in the Baltic States. Non-life Insurance consists of the following three business divisions: Private Customers, Corporate Customers and the Baltic States.
